Feng Shui is truly a remarkable discipline that empowers one to live
harmoniously with
their environment by implementing basic principles of this
ancient practice. In doing so,
one can improve and enhance mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. Feng shui can
have dramatic effects in all aspects of your life.
Creating a healthy environment must begin
in our own homes and personal
surroundings. Benefits of increased prosperity, happiness,
career
satisfaction and personal growth can be attained through the proper use of feng
shui.
For businesses, a balanced environment will be positively reflected in
greater production,
higher morale of employees and less sick time - thus,
increasing profits! Multi-million dollar
corporations such as AT&T,
Bank of America, Shell, The Hilton Hotels, Borders Bookstores
and Trump Enterprises are just a few
internationally successful businesses incorporating
Feng Shui into their building design and
interiors.

Beyond these boundaries, fees will be discussed

Telephone calls are always welcome to anyone needing clarification or
information regarding
basic feng shui principles.

YES - However, people who apply feng shui principles will receive varying
degrees of benefits - many times these will be profound. In China, it is
believed
that there are three types of luck:
Heaven Luck, Man Luck and Earth
Luck. Heaven Luck is that with which we are born;
Man Luck is how we
choose to approach and address life's situations. Earth Luck
is how our
personal energies interact and resonate with the natural forces of the
earth and
our environment - hence, Feng Shui. We can use Feng Shui or Earth Luck
to
influence and change our Man Luck. But because energy is in constant flux,
there
will always be other influences effecting our lives and luck at any given
time. Time,
itself, factors heavily into advanced feng shui
principles.
Sometimes, no matter how much basic feng shui we apply, we do
not get all of our
desired results. Sometimes the energy shifts in such a
way as to cause seemingly
unfavorable results - only to realize in hindsight
that it was exactly what we needed
at the time. Other times,
we receive only small doses of improvement. Advanced
Flying Star
feng shui, based on time and dimension, is believed to heavily influence
our day
to day good fortune. Identical feng shui solutions applied at different
times
may produce stronger (or weaker) results depending on Flying Star Feng
Shui.
Most feng shui practiced today barely touches the 'tip of the iceberg'
of this ancient
art and science. Analyzing and applying advanced feng shui
is extremely tedious
and time-consuming. A true Asian "Master"
of Feng Shui has devoted his or her entire
life to learning and practicing its
principles. For a comprehensive consultation by
such a master, you may pay upwards to $10,000.00.
As quoted from my mentor, Lillian Too, "You can never get Feng Shui 100%
right...
but if you approach Feng Shui with an open heart and good intention,
using sound
principles, it will work for you."

I have studied directly under world-renowned Feng Shui experts
Lillian Too,
Master Yap
Cheng Hai, Professor Lin Yun, James Moser & Seann Xenja. Combining knowledge from
various schools of Feng Shui allows me to give my
clients a highly personalized, in-depth
consultation. I utilize a Chinese compass (luo pan) to assess directional energies according
to classic Feng Shui, as well
as applying symbolism and traditional Eastern methods of
enhancing energy
flow. I have been consulting locally since starting Harmony Design
Interiors in 1997.
In early 1998, Holly Ziegler and I co-founded the Feng
Shui Association of the Central Coast,
a professional organization for local feng shui consultants and
practitioners. We are currently
going strong with twelve members.
I hold a Degree in Interior Design, as well
as a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology.
Having worked as a
licensed Clinical Laboratory Scientist for many years, my scientific
background compels me to strive for accuracy and attention to detail. It
is balanced by
creativity cultivated through many years study in Art, Philosophy and Eastern Traditions.

The beauty and fun of Feng Shui is in the creative aspect of balancing the
elements according
to your design style and tastes. While
traditional oriental objects and symbols can be used,
they are certainly not required.

Feng Shui itself is not a religion and does not require religious
practices. Chinese ritual,
Taoist and Buddhist principles are deeply ingrained in Chinese culture and
society. Therefore,
it is not surprising that Feng Shui is often combined with these
ancient practices and beliefs.
Many people wish
to incorporate their own personal religious or spiritual beliefs with Feng
Shui instead. Others choose to embrace the eastern traditions. I am very sensitive to and
respect all of my clients personal religious beliefs (or
non-beliefs).
